  • Self check-in: We are a self check-in and check-out hotel with no front desk. On the day of your arrival you'll receive a digital guidebook and your property access code — go straight from the road to your room.
  • Early check-in & late checkout: Available for $35 for villas or $50 for casitas.
Reservations

Cancellation Policy

  • 14 or more days before arrival: cancel at no charge.
  • 7 to 14 days before arrival: 50% refund.
  • Less than 7 days before arrival: no refunds.

Plans change — if something comes up, reach out and we'll do our best to help you adjust your reservation.

Accommodations

Rooms & Casitas

Our 20 accommodation units span 32 bedrooms — from king suites to private multi-bedroom casitas, each uniquely appointed with custom furnishings and Spanish Colonial character.

  • King Suite — sleeps 2 · one king bed, with a mini fridge, Nespresso machine, espresso pods, hot water kettle, and tea. Adjoining double queen rooms available on request.
  • Double Queen Suite — sleeps 4 · two queen beds, with the same thoughtful in-room touches.
  • Two-Bedroom Casita — one king plus two queens, a fully equipped kitchen, and a comfortable living space.
  • Three-Bedroom Casita — our largest standalone casitas, with full kitchen, dining room, living room, and two patios.
  • The Owner's Suite — three bedrooms, three ensuite baths, poolside with views of the chapel and gardens.

La Palmilla is a non-toxic hotel. Every casita and villa is sanitized with the AdVap Ladybug high-temperature steam system and a plant- and mineral-based concentrate — no bleach, harsh chemicals, or synthetic disinfectants. If you travel with sensitivities, allergies, asthma, or chemical concerns, you'll rest easier at our non-toxic hotel in Glen Rose, Texas.

Celebrations

Weddings & Events

Casa Del Rey Chapel seats 180 guests for the ceremony, and Cantina Palmilla seats 150 for the reception with a covered patio for cocktail hour. An event coordinator from our approved vendor list is required, and catering and alcohol service come from our on-site team and approved vendors. Wedding parties get exclusive booking access to our rooms and casitas up to 90 days before the event.
